Course Description:

The Music Therapy Inner Circle is a monthly peer supervision group designed to support your growth, clinical decision-making, and confidence as a music therapist.

Join a focused community of like-minded professionals from across the country who are actively doing the work.

Because doing this work alone isn’t how you grow.

Each session gives you the opportunity to:

• Bring real clinical challenges and get meaningful feedback

• Gain new perspectives and practical ideas you can use immediately

• Strengthen your clinical thinking and ethical decision-making

• Feel supported, not isolated, in your work

This is not just a discussion group. It’s a structured space to think more clearly, respond more intentionally, and grow as a clinician.

You’ll leave each session with fresh insights, concrete next steps, and a stronger sense of direction in your practice.

Your participation counts toward your continuing education.

Attend 9 sessions and earn 16 CMTE credits, including 3 ethics credits.

Learning Objectives:

Through collaboration, we will share old and create new music therapy interventions to use with our clients

In collaboration, we will come up with 2 new ideas to achieve therapeutic goals

Participate in discussions about music therapy ethics

As a team, we will improve our ability to create treatment plans for clients that we may be struggling with, by adding one new treatment idea each month

Inner Circle is approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for 16 CMTEs-Continuing Music Therapy Education credits, 3 of them in ethics. The Spiegel Academy, CBMT Approved Provider #P-106, maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria.
