There are moments in music therapy when there isn’t an obvious answer.

A client isn’t responding the way you expected. A boundary feels unclear. An ethical question comes up. A session leaves you wondering what you could have done differently. Or you simply want another music therapist’s perspective before deciding what to do next.

The Music Therapy Inner Circle is a yearlong peer supervision experience that gives you a consistent place to bring those questions, think through real clinical situations, and learn alongside other music therapists.

Each month, you’ll meet with a focused community of music therapists to discuss clinical challenges, exchange perspectives, explore ethical considerations, and develop practical next steps you can bring back to your work.

Because sometimes what helps most isn’t another course or another intervention. It’s having thoughtful music therapists to talk with who understand the work you do.

Because Doing This Work Alone Isn’t How You Grow

The Inner Circle is more than a discussion group. It’s a structured space to step outside the demands of your day-to-day work and think more deeply about your practice.

You’ll have opportunities to bring real situations from your work, hear how other music therapists might approach them, consider perspectives you may not have thought of, and strengthen the clinical and ethical reasoning behind your decisions.

Over the course of the year, you’ll build not only your clinical confidence, but also meaningful professional connections with music therapists who are committed to learning and growing alongside you.

In the Inner Circle, you will:

Bring real clinical questions and challenges for peer feedback and discussion.
Gain new perspectives and practical ideas you can apply in your work.
Strengthen your clinical reasoning and ethical decision-making.
Learn from the experiences and approaches of music therapists working with different populations and settings.
Develop greater confidence when navigating complex or uncertain clinical situations.
Build ongoing professional connections within the music therapy community.
Earn CMTE credits, including ethics credits, through your participation.

You’ll leave meetings with fresh perspectives, practical next steps, and a stronger sense of direction in your work.

Already a CMTE Club member? The Music Therapy Inner Circle is included with your membership at no additional cost.

Not interested in the full CMTE Club? You can join the Inner Circle separately and receive the peer supervision, professional connection, and CMTE credit experience on its own.

Because doing this work alone isn’t how you grow.

Each session gives you the opportunity to:

• Bring real clinical challenges and get meaningful feedback

• Gain new perspectives and practical ideas you can use immediately

• Strengthen your clinical thinking and ethical decision-making

• Feel supported, not isolated, in your work

This is not just a discussion group. It’s a structured space to think more clearly, respond more intentionally, and grow as a clinician.

You’ll leave each session with fresh insights, concrete next steps, and a stronger sense of direction in your practice.
