Level 1- Part 1 
Healing Complex PTSD: The Neurobiology of Trauma and Creativity in Clinical Practice

We will learn how both trauma and creativity change the brain, mind  and body creating the maladaptive behaviors of ‘complex’ PTSD. We will learn how the cross modal creative arts exercises develop new neural circuitry and creative behaviors by linking the non-verbal material of trauma with the integrative functions of the prefrontal cortex.

Level 1- Part 2 
Cross Modal Creative Arts and the Sanctuary Model for Trauma Recovery

Working within the Four Domains of the trauma recovery model SELF,  we learn how cross modal creative arts exercises repair the psycho-biological fragmentation caused by developmental trauma. We will learn and experience how brain-smart exercises give clients the tools to build internal Safety, regulate Emotions, manage Loss, and envision the Future.
