
Katherine Borst MT-BC
Katherine Borst is a graduate of the Molloy College Music Therapy program and has been practicing as a Board Certified Music Therapist since 2014.
As a professional music therapist, Katherine has experience working within a variety of settings with children, adults, and geriatrics of varying needs and abilities, including but not limited to neurodevelopmental disorders, medically fragile and complex medical needs, dementia and memory care, inpatient, outpatient, and residential behavioral health, trauma care, at-risk youth, special needs, and traumatic brain injury. Katherine maintains a music-
centered and client-centered philosophy and believes that individuals hold an innate musical being within themselves. In addition to music therapy services, she has also provided years of adapted and typical piano and guitar lessons to children and adolescents.
Katherine is a Florida native and currently residing and practicing in the Daytona Beach area after previously living in Nashville, Tennessee, the greater Denver area, and the New York metropolitan area, respectively.
Outside of music, Katherine also enjoys spending her time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors as much as possible as an avid hiker, roller skater, rock climber, and beach-dweller.
